How It Works

At the 39th Annual AA NICOLET-WOLF RIVER CAMPING GETAWAY, sobriety, fun, fellowship, spirituality and nature come together in one special weekend in the beautiful setting of the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Family and friends are welcome to this all-ages event. There are no dues or fees for registration and an "Eternal Coffee Pot" is provided. Simply pay for your campsite/cabin/glamping cabin at www.bearpawoutdoors.com and bring enough money, tents, and food to do some or all of the many activities in the area. Daily meetings at Bearpaw Campsites with a Keynote Speaker and the Bonfire on Saturday Night.

What It Is

The 38th Annual NICOLET-WOLF RIVER CAMPING GETAWAY (Aug. 7-9, 2026) is about sober community. We come together to celebrate our sobriety, our families, and our friends but most importantly to help anyone who still suffers or anyone who has a desire to stop drinking. This is a 3-day camping trip centered at Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure in White Lake, WI where together we enjoy the Northwoods while having daily and nightly meetings. Some of our fellows bring their mountain bikes, hiking gear, fishing gear or kayaks. Others go on tubing, horseback riding or white water rafting trips. There are many, many things to do nearby. Camping options range from rustic (bring your own tent) on campsites (small or group) to cabins (with a/c and washrooms). Hot showers and bathrooms are on site for all to use. Book your accommodations early at www.bearpawoutdoors.com Campers from outside our group can also camp on site, but their number is limited to the sites we do not book. So, book now. There are no RV hookups but small, one-axel pop-up trailers are allowed on sites. RV campers can book at a site very near by www.rockyripscampground.com
